Winter Provincial Trials meet is a two and a half day swim meet with heats and finals for the 50's, 100's and 200's and timed finals for the 400 & 800's. Swimmers may qualify for this meet by achieving one of the Provincial Trials time standards. Swimmers who win an event automatically qualify for Winter Provincial Championships (Edmonton) from March 19th - 22nd, 2026. Swimmers can also qualify at this meet by achieving the Swim AB Provincial Championships time standard.

Date: March 6th - 8th, 2026 (Friday to Sunday)
Pool: Big Marble Go Centre, Medicine Hat AB
Swimmers eligible: *Gold, *Junior & *Sr Provincial & *Junior National *who have achieved a Provincial Trials time standard.
Please Note: Swimmers are de-qualified if they have achieved a Provincial Championships time standard.
Please check with your coach to see if your swimmer is qualified for this meet!

Meet Entry Fees: TBC per individual event & $22.00 per relay event.
*Coaches will enter athletes who have signed up and all entry fees will be charged monthly through Keyano's billing system.
Entry Limit: Swimmers may be entered into a max of 7 individual events.
Confirmation Deadline: Wednesday February 11th, 2026, 11:59pm.

Note that sign-up deadlines are set such that fees are no longer refundable beyond that date. Keyano pays for event costs and for entry fees to other club's hosted meets up front on behalf of members, and then passes those costs on to those signed up for a competition through monthly invoices. As a non-profit organization, it is our mandate to ensure each member is responsible for their own fees as of the sign-up deadline.
