Coach Nicole Gurney will no
longer be with EKSC after January 31st.Nicole starts student/teaching at St. Mary’s
Elementary, the school of her choice, February 1st.
Unfortunately, the hours required for student/teaching will not
allow Nicole to attend workouts & meets. She will be
missed by the swimmers and staff. I appreciate Nicole’s
contribution to EKSC this season and wish her luck as she pursues
her career. Nicole and I have talked about working for EKSC
in the future, once she finishes her teaching degree. Thanks

Amanda Bell will be taking
over Nicole’s duties on February 1st. Amanda
is a student in the Physical Education Department at
theUniversityofAlbertaand is an accomplished
swimmer and triathlete. Mandy was a Middle and Distance
Freestyle specialist and swam for the Chilliwack Spartan’s,
University of Calgary Dino’s and the University of Alberta
Panda’s. Mandy has coached at the Keyano Summer Camps
and provides private lessons for swimmers and triathletes around
the city. She comes to us with much swimming experience and
will complement the coaching staff well. Welcome
